BRIE’S BLACK BEAN BURGERS

Elda’s Kitchen Green Hatch Chili Cooking & Grilling Sauce
Ingredients
1 to 2 eggs
4 tablespoons Elda’s Kitchen Hatch Chili Cooking & Grilling Sauce
Hamburger buns
3 to 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 29 ounce can black beans, drained
Fresh parsley
1/4 cup grated or chopped onion
2 large cloves garlic, mashed
1/4 cup bread crumbs
Optional burger fixing suggestions:
Jalapeno peppers
Cheese slice
Ripe tomato rings
Crispy onions
Red onion cut into rings
Iceberg lettuce torn into large pieces
Mayonnaise
Mustard
Ketchup

Directions
Smash beans with fork until mashed. Add egg, grated onion, garlic, parsley and bread crumbs to beans. Add Elda’s Kitchen Green Hatch Chili. Mix well. Add another egg or more bread crumbs if mixture is not sticking together.
Heat oil in large skillet on medium high heat. Form bean mixture into patties and place into skillet. Fry for 3 minutes, flip patties, and fry an additional 3 minutes. Remove patties from skillet.
Break apart hamburger buns and place on individual dinner plates. Place a large piece of lettuce on top of the bottom bun. Place a bean patty on top of the lettuce and drizzle Elda’s Kitchen Green Hatch Chili to bring out the flavor of the bean patty. Then layer your favorite fixings and remainder half of bun. Enjoy!
