Ingredients:
- 2 1-2lb steaks (we used chuck steaks)
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Burrito:
- Burrito tortillas
- Tomatoes, diced
- Avocado, diced
- Colby-Jack cheese, shredded
- Elda’s Kitchen Original Steakhouse Sauce
Steakhouse Crema:
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2-3 tbsp Elda’s Kitchen Original Steakhouse Sauce
- Juice from ½-1 lime (about 1 tbsp)
Directions:
Let steaks rest on the counter for at least 30 mins before cooking. Heat a skillet on high heat and add 2 tbsp of olive oil. Cook steaks one at a time, brown on each side for 2-3 mins, then turn heat down to medium-high and cook until internal temperature reads 140-145 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare (about 15-25 mins depending on the size and thickness of the steak).
Let steaks rest for at least 10 mins before slicing. Cut into thin, bite-sized pieces. Spread steakhouse crema over tortilla, add meat, and pour more Elda’s Kitchen Original Steakhouse Sauce. Add shredded cheese, tomatoes, and avocados. Tuck in ends and wrap tortilla around the filling. Cut in half and serve with black beans, chips, salsa, and/or rice.
