Directions

Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat your olive oil and cook your onion. Once your onions are translucent and starting to brown, add your ground beef and break up with a wooden spoon. Mix beef with onions and add a dash of salt and pepper.  Once your beef is lightly browned on all sides, pour over ⅓ bottle of Elda’s Kitchen Kentucky Bourbon sauce.

Once your meat has cooked through and the sauce has adhered to the meat, remove from heat.

Take your favorite pizza dough (uncooked)  and add your cheese, pickles, and meat mixture to the center of your dough. Pour over as much Brie’s Drive-In Burger Sauce as you like! We add about 3 tablespoons at this point. Fold and roll the edges of your dough to completely seal your calzone.

Cook your calzone in the oven for 12 minutes, or until golden brown on the top. Once your calzone has turned golden brown, remove it from the oven and brush with your melted butter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and let cool.

Cut into slices, top with your tomatoes and lettuce, and serve with a side of Brie’s Drive-In Burger Sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
