CHEESEBURGER PIZZA
This recipe combines two favorite finger foods into an unbelievably delicious cheeseburger pizza! Whether you’re serving it to kids or kids-at-heart, this gourmet pizza is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients
- 2 beef burger patties
- 1/4 cup sweet pickles
- 1/3 white onion, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups Monterey & Colby Jack cheese, shredded
- Kosher salt
- Cracked black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- An 8 oz bottle of Brie’s Diner Burger Sauce!
- 1 pizza crust, pre-made or store bought
- Garlic powder
- Mustard (optional topping)
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium high heat. Add your two patties and a few dashes of salt and pepper to the raw meat. Cook until brown on one side and then flip. Add a few more dashes of salt and pepper.
While burgers are cooking, quarter your pickle slices and slice your onion.
Once cooked through, remove burgers from the pan and let cool. Then cut each burger into 6 chunks.
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place your pizza crust on a light colored baking sheet or pizza stone. Add ½ bottle of Brie’s Diner Burger Sauce to the crust, using a spatula to coat evenly, leaving the outer rim of the crust sauce-free.
In a small bowl, mix together 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil and a few dashes of garlic powder. Brush all around the edge of the crust with the olive oil mixture.
Next, evenly coat the sauced part of the crust with ⅔ of your cheese, then the onion, burger, pickles, and finally top with the rest of your cheese.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until crust begins to turn golden brown. You can drizzle with mustard, cut, and enjoy!
