GARLIC AND HERB FRENCH OMELETTE
Light, fluffy, and full of authentic aromatic herby goodness, this recipe for a Garlic and Herb French Omelette is simple and scrumptious! Perfect for breakfast, whether it’s in bed or for dinner.
Ingredients
- An 8oz bottle of Elda’s Kitchen Garlic & Herb Cooking & Grilling Sauce
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 eggs
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- ¼ cup whipped cream cheese
- Granulated garlic
Optional Toppings
- Chives, freshly chopped
- Salt

Directions
In a large skillet over medium low heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. While butter is melting, crack 3 eggs into a small bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of heavy cream and beat with a fork until combined. You want the egg yolk, whites, and cream to be well combined for a fluffy omelette.
As the butter melts in your pan, swirl it around to coat the bottom of the pan. Once the butter is melted, add your egg mixture to the pan. We like to let our eggs cook very slowly rather than on a high heat.
While the egg is cooking, add ¼ cup whipped cream cheese to a small bowl and and sprinkle with a little granulated garlic. Add 1 tablespoon of Elda’s Kitchen Garlic & Herb Cooking and Grilling Sauce to the cream cheese. Using a spoon, mix well to combine.
Once the omelette has cooked on the bottom, add your cream cheese. Dollop cream cheese along the center of the omelette (there will be uncooked egg on the surface of the omelette at this point). Take two spatulas and carefully fold the egg over. Fold ⅓ of the egg to cover the cream cheese, then fold the entire omelette over again. Allow the folded omelette to cook for another few minutes and then remove from heat.
Top your finished omelette with salt and freshly chopped chives and
enjoy!
