GARLIC AND HERB OLIVE TAPENADE
Looking for a simple but elevated gourmet appetizer? Garlic and Herb olive tapenade is our go-to for situations that call for next-level apps. These are so easy to make and are sure to wow your guests.
- An 8 oz bottle of Elda’s Kitchen Garlic and Herb Sauce
- 1 jar green olives, sliced
- 1 can black olives, sliced
- 1 pack of your favorite baguette or mini-toast bites
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Lemon zest (from 1 lemon)
- ¼ cup fresh italian parsley
If you want your toast a little crispier, you can broil your baguette or mini-toast for a few minutes until golden brown.
Fill your food processor with a mix of black and green olives, add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, zest of one lemon, pinch of salt, and several pinches of 2 tablespoons of Elda’s Kitchen Garlic and Herb Sauce, and top with ¼ cup fresh italian parsley. Blend in your food processor for a few seconds to really mix the ingredients together. Don’t over blend here, you want to preserve the texture rather than make a smooth paste.
Lay out your crackers or mini-toast bites and top each with a healthy serving of your olive mixture and enjoy!
