All three sauces are hits in our house. With me, the Theo’s Steakhouse is my favorite. It’s a good mild mix of tangy, smoky, and sweet and I really like the flavor of it. My husband’s clear favorite is the black pepper one. That is one he is putting on everything. I don’t like black pepper but I tried it just to see what it tasted like and the flavor is good and if you like black pepper that will probably be a hit with you too. We both like the Jamaican jerk. It has a bit more kick to it than the Steakhouse one does and is a unique flavor.
The bottles are plastic with wide open lids (no squeeze or squirt hole, just open). Says shake well and refrigerate after opening. We got them for ourselves but the way they come presented would make a nice gift for someone too.
Transported Back to Kentucky
Terrific flavor in a convenient sized bottle. You can buy a selection of different flavors to try with different preparations. Authentic Kentucky Bourbon flavor that really goes well with ribs!
The Best Marinade
Elda’s Kitchen produces the best marinades, with my personal favorite being Kentucky Bourbon. I love it on beef steaks. Since I have family members who are health conscious, I was glad to see Elda’s are GMO free, and gluten free, yet the flavor is outstanding.
I’ll be buying more of these!
I really like all three of these flavors. I’m always hesitant about Jamaican Jerk, so I used it on grilled chicken rather sparingly, just in case it was too hot or overwhelming. It was perfect! Leftover grilled chicken went into a salad, and it was really nice to have that jerk flavor in my lunch. I haven’t quite settled on what I’m going to use the steakhouse seasoning on (so far, the winner seems to be pork, but I’m not through “testing” the options). Black pepper is going on everything. I put it on grilled burgers yesterday and really liked it!
I’m going to try some of the other Elda’s Kitchen flavors, since these three were so surprisingly GOOD!
Makes Life So Easy!
I’ve used and been a fan of Elda’s kitchen marinades for a few years and was so happy to find them on Amazon. They have some great flavors available and it makes life so easy when you just have to open a bottle to make dinner really tasty. We used the Kentucky Bourbon to marinade steak for the BBQ. It helped to tenderize the steak and gave them a lovely, almost caramelized finish once they were grilled along with the great flavor. The steak was so yummy I forgot to take a picture of it before it was all gone!! We’ve also used this marinade for pulled pork in the slow cooker. I’m allergic to gluten so having a sauce that it gluten free is such a treat and saves me from making my own. I also like that Elda’s Kitchen is small batch, non-GMO and made in the USA. Highly recommend Elda’s Kitchen and if you are stuck for ideas they give some great suggestions/recipes on their Facebook & Instagram pages.
Very Flavorful
This was my first time trying this brand and I am blown away by the quality of the ingredients and the taste. We used it as marinade for BBQ chicken and it was so flavorful and delicious. Each sauce had a different and unique flavor.
