Ingredients
- Chuck roast
- Salt and pepper
- Ground (or fresh) ginger
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 3 cups pineapple juice
- Elda’s Kitchen Honey Ginger & Soy Sauce
Optional Toppings/Sides
- Long grain rice
- Zucchini, sliced
- 2 green onion stalks, diced
Directions

Season your chuck roast on all sides with salt, pepper, and ginger, rubbing lightly to spread.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, warm your olive oil. Brown your chuck roast on all sides, including the edges (you’re just browning, not cooking through at this point).
Once browned all the way around, remove from heat and transfer the roast to a slow cooker. Pour an entire 8 oz bottle of Elda’s Kitchen Honey Ginger & Soy Sauce over the roast. Add your garlic and pineapple juice. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours. Should fall apart easily when done.
Serve with a side of rice and grilled zucchini, top with diced green onions and enjoy!
