2-3 (can be doubled)

Ingredients

  • 2 sausages, sliced into thin rounds (you can use your favorite kind)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ½ cup uncooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 1 ½  cups chicken broth
  • ½ tablespoon onion powder
  • ½ tablespoon garlic powder
  • ¼ of an onion, diced
  • An 8 oz bottle of Elda’s Kitchen Honey Ginger & Soy Grilling Sauce

Optional topping

  • Green onion, sliced

Directions

Six meatballs sitting in a dark brown sauce with melted mozzarella cheese on top.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook your sausage in olive oil until cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside for later.

Next, melt butter in the same pan you cooked your sausage in. Once melted, add your onions and cook until translucent. Next, add your uncooked rice and stir. Then add parsley, onion powder, garlic powder, and ⅓ bottle of Elda’s Kitchen Honey Ginger & Soy Sauce. Stir to mix, and then add your chicken broth.

Bring everything to a boil, then cover and simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes. Uncover, check that your rice is cooked through and plate up. Top with your sausage, an extra drizzle of Honey Ginger & Soy, and a sprinkling of green onions and enjoy!
