Elda’s Kitchen Hot Wing Cheese Crackers

Ingredients:

1 1/4 cup flour plus more for dusting

1/2 cup shredded cheese

Kosher salt

1/4 cup unsalted butter

2 tablespoons plus more heavy cream

2 tablespoons Elda’s Kitchen Hot Wing Cooking and Grilling Sauce

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

In a food processor blend in this order –

1 1/4 cup flour

1/2 cup shredded cheese (I used a Mexican blend)

Pinch of kosher salt

Give this a quick pulse

Cut 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter into 1/2 inch pieces and add each piece to the food processor pulsing after each addition.

Add in 2 tablespoons heavy cream – pulse

Add in 2 tablespoons Elda’s Kitchen Hot Wing Cooking and Grilling Sauce – pulse

Now is when you really have to watch the dough. You’ll want it to pull away from the sides of the food processor and form a dough ball. If it doesn’t add in 1 teaspoon of heavy cream at a time until it pulls away from the sides of the food processor and forms a ball.

After the dough is done flip it out onto a floured surface.

Roll the dough into a rectangle until it is 1/4 inch think. Then cut 1/2 inch squares.

Put the squares on a parchment lined backing sheet. Sprinkle with kosher salt and lightly press the sat into the crackers.

Now poke a hole in the center of each cracker with a toothpick of skewer. I prefer a skewer.

Bake for 8-10 minutes until they are golden brown. I start checking on them every 30 seconds starting at 6 minutes and 30 seconds.

ENJOY!
