Directions:
Step 1:
Make the Grits:
Bring 3 cups of Chicken Broth to a boil
Add ¾ cups of Fast Cooking Grits
1 ½ cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 tsp Granulated Garlic
2 tbsp Butter
Cook on simmer until all liquid is absorbed and grits are completely cooked.
Step 2:
In a Large Pan:
Saute 6 slices of bacon (diced)
When almost completely browned add ½ onion diced.
Cook until onion is translucent.
Once onion and bacon are cooked remove from pan.
Add 12 size 18/20 shrimp to the hot pan and cook for 3 minutes on each side.
Once shrimp is cooked add bacon and onion, 3 tbsp of Elda’s Kitchen Jamaican Jerk Cooking and Grilling Sauce and hot sauce to your liking. We like it hot, so use 1 tbsp of Tabasco!
Give a good stir and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Plate up grits and top with shrimp, bacon, and onions.
Garnish with parsley and green onions!
ENJOY!
