JAMAICAN JERK VEGETABLE KABOBS
Simple, customizable, delicious. These Jamaican Jerk kabobs are grill-ready and dripping with gourmet goodness. You can substitute Jamaican Jerk for Ginger Teriyaki for a different twist.
- An 8oz bottle of Elda’s Kitchen Jamaican Jerk Cooking & Grilling Sauce
- 1 onion, chopped in large pieces
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped in large pieces
- 1 yellow bell pepper, chopped in large pieces
- 1 zucchini, sliced
- Pineapple chunks
- Plant-based sausage
- Tofu cubes, grilled
- Cherry tomatoes
Chop all ingredients so they are about 2” thick. Layer your ingredients on your skewers. We recommend keeping onion separated from milder-flavored or absorbent ingredients like zucchini, pineapple, and tofu to prevent overpowering their flavors (you can put a piece of bell pepper between the onion and these ingredients to help with this!).
Start up the grill!
Baste your skewers generously with Elda’s Kitchen Jamaican Jerk Cooking & Grilling Sauce.
Place skewers on grill and let cook. When ready to turn (check for those gorgeous grill marks), baste once more with sauce and then flip!
Once grilled to your preference, remove from the grill. Serve with rice, a salad, or any delicious side of your choice and enjoy!
