Directions

Set your air fryer to 390 degrees Fahrenheit. Set it for 45 minutes, but you’ll only use about 25 of those minutes. Spray your air fryer tray with avocado oil or your favorite cooking oil.

Season your drumsticks with salt, pepper, and a little paprika and load them into your fryer (about 3 large drumsticks each tray).

After about 12 minutes, check and flip your drumsticks. While they continue to fry, cook up your bacon. Once your bacon is cooked through, remove from pan, being sure to leave the bacon grease in the pan for use in your sauce.

Check your drumsticks (they should be an internal temperature of 165 degrees.) If they are not finished, allow to cook a bit longer while you dice your bacon.

Next, add two 8 oz bottles of Elda’s Kitchen Kentucky Bourbon to the pan with your bacon grease. Heat over medium-high heat until boiling. Add your bacon and heat through again. Then add your drumsticks to the pan. Turn each drumstick frequently to coat with the thickening sauce. Once each drumstick is coated in sauce, add to a deep dish and pour the sauce over the drumsticks. Serve and enjoy!
