LOW CARB BURGER BITES

Looking for a gluten-free or low carb appetizer for your next BBQ? Try out these delicious, cheesy burger bites! Dripping in our crazy craveable burger sauce, these burger cups are bound to be a hit with your guests. The recipe below makes 12 burger bites, but you can double or halve the recipe as needed.

Ingredients

  • 3lbs of ground beef (we use 75% lean, 25% fat)

  • Your favorite steak seasoning (we used Neil’s Sarap Seasoning for this one).

  • Minced garlic

  • Garlic and herb seasoning mix

  • Pepper

  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese

  • ¼ cup finely diced red onion

  • ¼ cup medium cheddar cheese, shredded

  • ¼ cup dill pickles, diced

  • ¼ cup jalapenos, diced

  • 1 avocado, diced

  • An 8 oz bottle of Brie’s Drive-In Burger Sauce 

Directions

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit.

In a medium bowl, add your ground beef, seasonings, parmesan cheese and diced onion. Mix everything together with your hands until well combined.

Next, in a greased muffin tin, mould your ground beef mixture into the cups, leaving the center of each hollow. Add your pickles and jalapenos to the center of each cup, then top each with cheese. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Cheese should be melted and meat cooked through.

Remove from the oven and, using a spatula or tongs, remove each burger cup from the muffin tin and place side by side in a deep dish. Pour over a hearty helping of Brie’s Burger Sauce and then top each cup with avocado and enjoy!
