PINEAPPLE TERIYAKI BURGERS

Ingredients:

3 lb ground beef
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 c Elda’s Ginger Teriyaki sauce
1 onion, diced
1 egg
1 pineapple
1/2 c mayonnaise
Hamburger buns of choice

Directions:

Combine all ingredients except pineapple, mayonnaise, and buns in large bowl (using only ½ c of the Elda’s sauce and saving the rest for later)

Form ground beef mixture into large balls (about the size of your palm), then squish into ½ in thick patties

Chill in the fridge while preparing pineapple slices

Peel and slice pineapple into ½ in thick slices

Take patties out of fridge and baste with ½ cup of Elda’s Ginger Teriyaki sauce

Grill patties and pineapple until patties are cooked to desired doneness

While patties are grilling, combine mayonnaise and the last ½ c of Elda’s Ginger Teriyaki sauce

Add patties, pineapple, teriyaki mayonnaise, and any other desired toppings to buns and enjoy!
