featuring
Elda’s Kitchen Spyki Cooking & Grilling Sauce
Ingredients
1/2 cup plain popcorn, freshly popped
1 cube (1/2 cup) salted butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 to 3/4 cup shelled peanuts (omit if allergic to nuts)
1/4 cup Elda’s Kitchen Spyki Cooking and Grilling Sauce

Directions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Pour freshly popped popcorn into a large mixing bowl. Carefully separate out unpopped kernels and throw them away. Add peanuts to popcorn and mix well.
Melt butter into a large frying pan. Add brown sugar. Blend together until sugar is melted and smooth. Add light corn syrup and stir. Be careful as mix will be very hot. Add salt and stir. Turn off burner. Add baking soda and mix well.
Using a spatula, pour caramel over the popcorn and peanuts. Avoid contact with the hot mixture and carefully mix well until well coated.
Line a large shallow baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop popcorn mixture onto the baking pan. Evenly spread popcorn on the sheet and place into oven. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and fold popcorn to mix well. Enjoy!
