• 1 bottle of Spyki Sauce
  • 1 lb of Black Forest Bacon (or any bacon on hand)



Cute your bacon into larger pieces (2 – 3 in long) or keep whole, depending on preference

Separate bacon pieces and place in large bowl or dish

Add bottle of Spyki sauce to bowl and mix with bacon

Let bacon sit for 20 minutes before cooking

While bacon sits, turn oven on to 300 degrees

Line a large deep baking pan with foil and place wire baking rack inside

Spray generously with nonstick cooking spray (bacon WILL stick if not sprayed well)

Lay bacon out in a single layer on the wire rack, making sure not to overcrowd the sheet

Sprinkle brown sugar generously over bacon

Put bacon in the oven and cook for 40 minutes until bacon is cooked through and crispy



Use most Elda’s sauces instead of Spyki (except Theos, Garlic and Herb, and Hotwing) to add a different flavor to the candied bacon.
