THEO’S STEAKHOUSE CHILI
Elda’s Kitchen Theo’s Steakhouse Cooking & Grilling Sauce
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 medium yellow onion, diced
1 pound ground pork
1 can tomatoes, diced
1 can pinto beans
1 can dark red kidney beans
1 can corn
1 can black beans
1 poblano pepper
1 cup mini sweet peppers, sliced
1 tablespoon cumin
1 and a half tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon oregano
One cup of your favorite beer (pale ale)
Half bottle of Elda’s Kitchen Theo’s Steakhouse Cooking & Grilling Sauce
2 tablespoons of cornmeal
Shredded cheddar cheese
In a large pot over medium heat, add in 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once heated, add diced onion and garlic. Cook until onion is translucent.
Add in your poblano pepper and cook for a few minutes
Add in 1 pound of ground pork and cook until most of the pink is gone.
Add in all of the canned beans, corn, and diced tomatoes. Now add in all of your spices and cornmeal and stir.
Add in the beer and Theo steakhouse.
Give this all a good stir season with salt and pepper and let it simmer on low for at least two hours.
