Ingredients:
- 12 oz whole green beans, trimmed
- 5-6 pieces of thick-cut bacon (we use Blackford's Premium), in large crumbles (cooked to preferred level of crispiness)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- ½ cup walnuts, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- ¼ of an 8 oz bottle of Elda’s Kitchen Black Pepper Sauce
Directions:
Blanch green beans in boiling water until just fork tender, about 3-5 mins. Drain and set aside.
In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter. Cook walnuts for 3 mins, stirring occasionally. Add garlic, stirring until fragrant (about 3 mins). Add green beans and ¼ bottle of Elda’s Kitchen Black Pepper Sauce. Stir to coat walnuts in sauce, then mix ⅔ of bacon crumbles in skillet then top with Swiss cheese.
Sprinkle with remaining bacon and cover skillet with lid for 2 mins to melt cheese.
