Garlic Green Beans

Prep Time: 20 mins | Cook Time: 10 mins | Total Time: 30 mins

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz whole green beans, trimmed
  • 5-6 pieces of thick-cut bacon (we use Blackford's Premium), in large crumbles (cooked to preferred level of crispiness)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • ½ cup walnuts, chopped  
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • ¼ of an 8 oz bottle of Elda’s Kitchen Black Pepper Sauce

Directions:

Blanch green beans in boiling water until just fork tender, about 3-5 mins. Drain and set aside.


In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter. Cook walnuts for 3 mins, stirring occasionally. Add garlic, stirring until fragrant (about 3 mins). Add green beans and ¼ bottle of Elda’s Kitchen Black Pepper Sauce. Stir to coat walnuts in sauce, then mix ⅔ of bacon crumbles in skillet then top with Swiss cheese. 


Sprinkle with remaining bacon and cover skillet with lid for 2 mins to melt cheese.
