Portobello Mushroom Burger

Prep Time: 15 mins | Cook Time: 10 mins | Total Time: 25 mins

𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

  • 2 portobello mushroom caps, cleaned
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 slices Swiss cheese
  • Β½ cup fresh baby spinach
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 2 hamburger buns
  • Brie’s Drive-In Burger Sauce

πƒπ’π«πžπœπ­π’π¨π§π¬:
Drizzle 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp soy sauce onto a small plate. Absorb the mixture by rubbing both sides of the mushroom cap over it. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Repeat with second cap.Β 

In a pan over medium-high heat, warm 1 tbsp of olive oil. Add mushroom caps, top side down and cook for about 5 mins per side until tender.

Top each cap with a slice of Swiss cheese, pour 2 tbsp of water in the pan, and cover. Allow the steam to melt the cheese for 1-2 mins, then remove from pan.Β 

Add to hamburger buns and top with baby spinach, tomato slice, and a generous helping of Brie’s Drive-In Burger Sauce.Β
