Steakhouse Pigs in a Blanket

Prep Time: 20 mins | Cook Time: 20-25 mins | Total Time: 45

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 5 beef hot dogs, halved
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2-3 tbsp Elda’s Kitchen Original Steakhouse Sauce
  • Poppy seeds, for garnish
  • Dijon mustard, for dipping

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Roll pastry dough out until it’s roughly 14”x8” then cut in half longways, then into 10 rectangles (total).

Spread a small amount of the Elda’s Kitchen Original Steakhouse Sauce onto the middle of each pastry rectangle. Roll hot dog halves in pastry, pressing the seam together and wiping away any excess sauce.

Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with egg wash. Sprinkle poppy seeds on top and bake for 20-25 mins or until the puff pastry is a crisp, golden brown.

Serve with Dijon mustard for dipping.
